The pavilions Himalayas is the latest addition to the pavilions collection all around the world. The unique organic farm, Boutique resort The Pavilions Himalayas was opened in November 2015. It was originally opened with the mission to give local farmers an opportunity to establish organic farming and avoid commercial farming production. Additionally, the owners Douglas and Insuba Maclagan have supported projects in fields like health, education and provision of job opportunity for the local community from this hotel business.
It is located in the Chisapani of Pokhara city. It is about half an hour drive from the Pokhara airport and about 2.5 km from the lakeside Pokhara. The hotel is the starting point of the trekking. It offers the panoramic view of the stunning and magnificent Annapurna range. It is far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The resort is on the lap of the beautiful landscape and hills.
The resort has separate villas with the wonderful view of the natural landscape and the mountain range. The villas of the resort are built in modern architecture with the combination of Nepali style. They have a very traditional decor with khopas containing amkharas and karuwas (traditional Nepali vessels). Furthermore, the ties used to tie the curtain are dhagos (ornaments worn by the girls to tie their hair). Each villa has their own unique name: Ratna, Padma, Surya engraved on a wooden plaque outside. Every villa has the vajra hanging on a very antique looking key. The hotel has about 15 spacious villas with the stunning design and unique displays.
Each room of the resort provides you with the eternal views of the mountain range and beautiful landscape. The room are well furnished and equipped with a private deck, a LED flat screen television, free wireless internet, en-suite bathroom, fireplace, air-conditioning, a wardrobe, well stocked fridge, tea bags, pot of ground coffee, little box full of sugar, coffee maker, electric kettle, a safe, a mini bar and a separate living room. The villas are divided into three categories. The guests can book these villas according to their preferences and needs.
