TEHRATHUM SANKHUWASABHA

A locale of verdant fields, dazzling mountain sees, shining dawns and nightfalls, and benevolent Limbu individuals, Tehrathum offers an amazing rest from the commotion and worry of city life. The various scene from terraced slopes to the huge fields of the tarai fields are canvassed in rich green vegetation, a reviving change from the solid wilderness of the city.

From here, a short trek follows the Milke Danda edge due north, moving to 4,700 m towards Jaljale Himal, a remote territory with a dispersing of lakes and occupied by mountain individuals of Tibetan starting point.

You would then be able to slip east to the Mewa Khola (stream) and proceed to Taplejung’s landing strip and further on to the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area.

Milke Danda

While in transit to Taplejung is another edge known as Milke Danda (2,905m) which is mainstream for its rhododendron woods. This edge gives a closer perspective on the Kanchenjunga and Kumbhakarna mountains and some astonishing dawn and dusk sees when the climate is perfect. It lies on the trekking course among Taplejung and Basantapur Bazaar.

Pattek

Pattek Danda (2,500 m) is similarly well known for dawn and nightfall scenes and furthermore offers an all encompassing perspective on the Himalayas from Mt. Everest to Kanchanjungha. Panchakanya Pokhari

Panchakanya Pokhari is another mainstream traveler site. Otherwise called Chhathar Pokhari, it is around a 2 hour walk downhill from Sukrabare Bazaar. Among the numerous lakes here, the biggest in the territory is Panchakanya.

A reasonable known as Sukrabare Bazaar (Sukrabar implies Friday) is held each Friday in the Hammarjung zone, displaying the assorted culture of the settlements.
