About The Sarangkot

Sarangkot is, without a doubt, home to the best views of the Annapurna range. From the viewpoint, you’re afforded uninterrupted, panoramic views across a number of the most striking Himalayan peaks, including the imposing Dhaulagiri (8167m), the triangle peak of Machhapuchhare, Annapurna II and Lamjung.  The light show here is incredible, as the peaks turn from bright pink, to orange, and finally white.   There are a number of chai stalls and tea houses just near the viewpoint which serve fresh tea or coffee, perfect for the post-euphoria come down. To get to Sarangkot viewpoint, you can hire a taxi to take you to the lookout point , or hire a scooter in Pokhara and follow the signs to Sarangkot.

Day 1 Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour- Nagarkot

Today, your sightseeing tour commences from the holy temple of Hindu devotees, Pashupatinath temple. Then you will move to Boudhanath, 8 km east from Kathmandu. In the afternoon, you will drive to Bhaktapur and explore architectural temples, shrines like Lion gate, Golden Gate, and the palace of 55 windows. You will then head towards Nagarkot to see the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset along with a spectacular view of Himalayan ranges.

Day 2 Nagarkot to Bandipur

Your morning starts with the enthralling sunrise along with the splendid mountain views. One can enjoy the incredible views of the almighty Mt. Everest from the station along with several other mountains and peaks. This is also best to look back to Kathmandu valley with panoramic views.  After breakfast, we drove back to Bandipur, another hill station for the sunrise and sunset view.  

Day 3 Bandipur to Pokhara

You will drive to Pokhara via Begnas Lake. Upon arrival, check in the hotel, In the evening, if clear weather, drive to world peace stupa for the sunset photograph. Then stroll at the shore of Fewa Lake circulates the blood and energizes the body after a long drive. The lake side becomes alive after the dark falls with the lighting of the shops and restaurants etc. It is a great hangout place for lovers of music and cuisines. Pokhara is the famous tourist destination of Nepal. Many adventurous and fun activities begin from here. This place serves as the thrilling destination for many domestic as well as International tourists. It is known as the place of lakes and mountains.  Pokhara lies in the north-western corner of the valley which is a widening of the Seti Gandaki valley that lies in the region of the Himalayas. 

Sunrise and Sunset Tour

There are mainly two things that bring travellers to Pokhara , one is mountain adventures and the other is a chance to unwind. People can admire the towering peaks rising amongst the clouds in the distance. These are the 8000 metre high snow capped giants of the Annapurna range, awe inspiring in their size and stature. On a clear day, they can be seen from everywhere in Pokhara like watchful guardians over the sleepy town.  

Day 4 Sarangkot

Morning drive to Sarangkot for the sunrise view, the village Sarangkot is one of the most beautiful villages in the Pokhara city. It is located in the west part of Pokhara at the height of 1592 meter from sea level. Sarangkot is the best place to see the sunrise and panorama mountain range. Upon drive back to Pokhara, you will have sightseeing tours of Bindabasini Temple, Mahendra Cave, Devi’s Falls etc. 

Day 5 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

It is time to bid farewell to the Pokhara valley and take a bus ride back to the Kathmandu valley. You can enjoy the beautiful landscapes, river valleys and clear sky through the window of the bus before reaching the city.
