Nepal Art Council (NAC) was built up in 1962 as a national foundation, with the prime target of advancing the craftsmanship and specialists of Nepal. Lord Mahendra was the benefactor, with occupant Prime Minister Kirti Nidhi Bista as Founding President, Nepal’s driving current craftsman Lain Singh Bangdel as General Secretary and autonomous advertiser of expressions of the human experience Gen. Mrigendra SJB Rana as Treasurer. It was considered, established and started as a Public-Private association. A brainchild of Bangdel, NAC was enlivened through his all out commitment, and the continuous help of his friends: Prime Minister Bista and Gen. Mrigendra Rana. It was later enlisted as a help situated non-benefit, non-government, association, and has stayed a spearheading and driving foundation in expressions of the human experience from that point forward.
