Anisha Rauniyar May 7, 2020

It’s high altitude and its relation to the Tibetan plateau causes strong wind to fly during the day. However, the rocky highlands make the location suitable for rock climbing.

There are many picturesque valleys in the Mustang district, such as Jomsom, Kagbeni and Lo Manthang. In reality, Jomsom was originally an administrative and commercial center with government offices and merchants. In the same direction, Kagbeni is a village in Upper Mustang that lies near the junction with the road to Muktinath, and Lo Manthang is in Upper Mustang, renowned for adventurous trekking.

HIMALAYAN RANGES

CULTURE

In the lowlands, you can mainly see Gurungs and Manangis in the east, although there are more Tibetans in the north, and Thakalis in Jomsom.
