Krishna Mandir located at the patan in the Patan Durbar square teritory. It is one of the most important asset for the Nepalese people. It has great historic and religious value. The temple is devoted to the hindu god Krishna Kanaihya. The temple was build by the Malla king Siddhi Narsingha in 1637. It is believed that the King saw Krishna in his dream and this became the reson to construction of this temple. The temple is build on the indian tyle shikhara. The temple is still used and managed by the local Brahmins. The temple are crowded bt the devotess during the Krishna Janmaasthami which is known as the birth day of Krishna.
