Kakani is among on of the famous place to visit near the Kathmandu valley. It lies to the north from the Kathmandu valley. Kakani is very famous for picnic spots and sightseeing. The park was build for the memory for the people who lost thier life during the thai airways accident in 1992 july 31. The center of the park consist of the graves of the people who lost thier life during the incident. The park is well maintained and people who visit Kakani also visit here.

In Kakani visitor can enjoy the view also they can experince the ziplining. The zipline is not so long but the experince will not be low. Zipline in Kakani is about 180m long and lasts about a minute. Hence this short zipline is best especially for children but is open to all age group of participants.
