The hotel is located in the Naldum road in Nagarkot of Bhaktapur district. It is about 28 km from the Tribhuvan International Airport. The hotel area is vastly spacious, it is spread in 2.51 acre of land. It is situated at 7200 feet from sea level. Hotel country Villa was opened in the year 1996 with 8 rooms, one restaurant and a bar. It had a very humble beginning and extended its property with 8 more rooms in 1999 and again in 2003 14 deluxe rooms were added. The conference room with a capacity of 90 people was also built in the same year. The hotel renovated its property with the addition of the Himalayan restaurant and 5 more rooms. Recent development is the addition of 16 deluxe rooms and a new conference room with the capacity of 175 people. It also added holistic service, Spa, Gym and Bakery Shop to the property in 2014.
The hotel is built in the terraced area of the hill in Nagarkot. It is constructed in western villa style with the thatched tiles roof. Each room of the villa opens to the private balcony from where guests can enjoy the majestic views of the Himalayas. The rooms are designed with the furniture made using the local equipment.
