From mid September to May is the best time to trek in this region. Trekking in monsoon is not a good idea as this region lies in the most raining territory of Nepal which highly affects the trail making it slippery with lots of leeches. Panchase trek can be started from many places like Peace Pagoda, Phewa Lake, Kande and Kushma. We normally prefer to begin our Panchase trek by crossing the Phewa Lake in a boat. Milke danda Trekking is a long and high forest ridge that divides the Arun and Tamur valley in the eastern Nepal.
