The Godawari is located on the southern part of the Kathmandu valley. The place is famous for its natural beauty and the botanical garden. The place is visited by lots of local and foreign tourists. This place is one of the must visit place inside the Kathmandu valley. One can enjoy the view and take the photograph of the beautiful nature. Families often come here to enjoy the weekend by picnics. It is also one of the favorite places for trekking and hiking on the foot of Pulchowki hill in Lalitpur.
There are many hotel and resorts where toursit can relax during the visit. The place consist of the marbles mining which is one of the most common godawari marbles of Nepal. Its not very far from Kathmandu. So if you plan to go to Godawari you can easily take a cab or go on a public vehicle.
