Tatopani border is one of the important trade boder to China. The border is on the north of Nepal. It lies on the Sindhupalchowk district. This border has helped a lot in the economy of the country Nepal. Lots of goods and other stuffs are imported and exprted from this border. The place is named tatopani as it is really consisting of a hot water lake. People not only visit there for trade but also for the hot stream bath. It is believed that taking the hot stream bath is very good for the body and skin. Also some people believe lots of deisease get healed due to the bath.

Due to the massive earthquake of 2015 the border was blocked. The trade was jammed due to lot of destruction. Now the maintenance work is still going on and they have reopened the border.

Ways to get from Kathmandu to Tatopani :

Araniko Highway takes you to the tatopani. It is about 115km long drive to the Tatopani. In bus it takes around 5 to 6 hours of ride. Public vehicle is operated and people also takes reserved vehicle. A lot of young group of people also loves to ride bike to Tatopani.
