Riverside Resort

Riverside Resort is located at Sauraha, Chitwan. It is at the boundary of Citwan National Park with Rapti river flowing ahead. A small beach with some Gharials staying in the heat can be seen from the resort.

The resort is about 4-5 hours of ride away from Kathmandu (approximately 164 km). Exploring Chitwan National Park and staying at this resort, serves you with many facilities.

Being the resort right across the river from the national park we get to encounter the wildlife from a very close view. As already mentioned, Gharials can be seen near the beach on the riverside.

• Jungle safari:

We can get a ride through the forest with high grassland. We can encounter many wildlife animaps as near as it favours. Tigers, Elephants, Rhinos, Wild Buffaloes, Gharials are among the popular animals to be encountered. Great feeling to have what it’s like to survive in the jungle.

• Elephant Bathing:

To get an elephant ride inside the forest and then for a bath is a great experience to have. Hop on it for a ride as well as a bath in the river.

• Elephant breeding centre:

Elephant there are trained whereby we get warm welcome from them. We can have a close look to the breeding centre.

• Tharu village

Tharus are the local people to be living there. It’s an opportunity to have a closer look of their culture
