Pokhara

Paragliding in Pokhara is one of the best spots in Nepal. Get a breathtaking view of some of the popular mountains, hills and water streams as well as a huge lake below. With the finest equipment and experienced pilots, you can get an awesome experience.

Tandem flights, solo flights can be done. Moreover, you can get the experience of parahawking (where you get to fly with a hawk). Also, fully certified paragliding courses are available.

• Chapakharka

It’s one of the finest paragliding spots which is about 13 km away from the international airport of Nepal. With the take off from the height of around 2100m , you can see greenery, vegetation and fresh air to be in.

• Kot Sabda

This spot lies near to Bisankhunarayan, Lalitpur. This spot provides superb views covering some places like Godawari area, Santaneswor temple.

• Phulchowki

It also lies in Lalitpur from where we can get an excellent view of greenery and vegetation. And it’s from i e of the high hills in Kathmandu valley.

• Bandipur

This spot offers a view of the small village of Newar community. An excellent view of some mountain peaks like Mt. Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Mt. Annapurna can be captured.

Best time for Paragliding in Nepal

The favourable time for para gliding is during Spring, Summer and Autumn. However, it also depends on the weather conditions for flight as well as view.
