Kailashnath Mahadev Statue

Kailashnath Mahadev Statue is located in sanga a border of bhaktapur and kavre. It is world’s tallest Shiva temple. The temple is around 20km away from kathmandu valley. The statue is made up of copper, zinc, concrete, and steel. This status has made a significant changes in the place and the village around it. Due to the construction of this statue and temple it has grown as touristic and religious place. The place is large area surrounded by beautiful garden and the temple in middle. There is a lond beutiful staircase from where the giant statue can be seen. There is also a luxurious restaurant to stay and enjoy.

More then 5000 people visit this statue. And even more in the weekends, festivals and holidays. It will be very crowdy in Shiva ratri here. Tourist often come here to relax and enjoy the view. Lots of people also come here for photography.

How to get there

Public vehicle are esily available from both old or new bus park.
